How to buy USDT and deposit it to Sky Trade

What USDT is, why Sky Trade accepts crypto only, which networks and minimums apply, how to choose a buying method and the safety rules that matter most.

To fund a real Sky Trade account you need cryptocurrency, and for most people the simplest choice is USDT. You buy it on an exchange or a P2P marketplace with your local money, then send it to the deposit address Sky Trade gives you. This page explains the basics and points you to a detailed guide for the method you're likely to use.

What USDT is

USDT (Tether) is a stablecoin: a crypto token designed to stay close to the value of one US dollar. That makes it convenient for moving money — you're not exposed to big price swings between buying and depositing. The same USDT exists on several blockchain networks, and the network you send on matters as much as the address.

Why Sky Trade accepts crypto only

Sky Trade doesn't process bank cards or bank transfers. Deposits go through the crypto payment processor NOWPayments, which accepts about 29 coins. Your balance is stored in US dollars, and USDT maps onto that directly. If you have a card or bank account but no crypto, the Wallet's "Bank card" tab explains the route: buy USDT on an exchange (card purchase or P2P), then send it to your deposit address. The exchange will ask for its own identity verification.

Networks, minimums and fees

USDT is accepted on 8 networks: BEP-20 (BNB Chain), TRC-20 (Tron), TON, Solana, Polygon, Arbitrum One, Avalanche C-Chain and ERC-20 (Ethereum). BEP-20, TRC-20 and TON are suggested.

  • Minimum deposit: $10 on most networks, $15 for USDT TRC-20, $20 on ERC-20.
  • Sky Trade charges no deposit fee.
  • You pay the network fee, and the exchange may charge its own withdrawal fee. Ethereum transfers usually cost more than the others.

Each deposit has a unique address, an exact amount and a QR code, valid for 60 minutes. It's credited automatically after the network confirms the transfer, usually within minutes. Full details are in how to deposit and fees.

Always send on the same network you selected in Sky Trade. A wrong network means no automatic credit, manual review via support, and possibly lost funds.

Choosing a method

Pick the guide that matches how you'll pay:

  • Binance P2P — buy from other users with local payment methods, step by step.
  • Bybit P2P — using ad filters and verified advertisers to choose a seller.
  • Pix (Brazil) — paying a P2P seller by Pix or depositing reais to an exchange.
  • Mercado Pago — paying from a Mercado Pago account on P2P marketplaces.
  • Bitso — buying on an exchange in Latin America and picking a compatible network.
  • Kaspi (Kazakhstan) — paying for P2P orders with a Kaspi transfer.
  • Monobank (Ukraine) — paying with a card transfer and avoiding bank-side problems.

If you have nothing to deposit yet, the demo account uses the same prices and payouts with virtual money.

Safety rules that apply everywhere

  • On P2P, never mark an order as paid before you've actually paid.
  • Keep all communication inside the platform's order chat.
  • Never pay third parties, and ignore "refunds" offered outside the order.
  • The name on your bank account should match your verified name, and the recipient's should match the seller.
  • Copy the address and amount from the current Sky Trade deposit, not from an old one.

Trading involves a risk of losing capital; deposit only money you can afford to lose.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest way to deposit to Sky Trade?

Sky Trade charges no deposit fee, so the cost is the exchange's fees plus the network fee. Compare withdrawal fees for BEP-20, TRC-20 and TON on your exchange; ERC-20 is usually the most expensive.

Can I deposit with a bank card?

Not directly. Buy USDT with a card or via P2P on an exchange, then send it to your Sky Trade deposit address.

Do I need KYC to deposit?

Sky Trade currently requires no identity verification, only a confirmed email for withdrawals. The exchange where you buy USDT has its own verification.

Can I deposit USDC or other coins?

Yes. USDC is accepted on 8 networks, and about 29 coins are supported in total, including BTC, ETH, TON and others.
