Sky Trade fees: what you pay and the real cost of trading
Sky Trade charges no deposit or withdrawal fee. Here is what network and exchange fees cost, and why the payout below 100% is the real price of trading.
Sky Trade does not charge a deposit fee or a withdrawal fee, and there is no trading commission per trade. That does not mean trading is free. You pay blockchain and exchange fees when you move money, and — more importantly — every trade has a built-in cost in the form of a payout below 100%. This page separates the two.
What Sky Trade charges
| Action | Sky Trade fee |

| Deposit | none |

What others may charge
Blockchain network fees. Every crypto transfer pays a fee to the network. On deposits this fee is paid by the sender — you. On withdrawals the network may also charge its fee. The size depends on the network and how busy it is: Ethereum (ERC-20) transfers are often the most expensive, while networks such as BEP-20, TRC-20 or TON are usually cheaper.
Exchange fees. If you buy USDT on an exchange and send it from there, the exchange may charge a trading fee, a P2P spread or a withdrawal fee of its own. These are set by the exchange, not Sky Trade. Our buy USDT guides show where these costs appear.
Many exchanges take their withdrawal fee out of the amount you enter. If you need $10 to arrive, check the "you will receive" figure on the exchange before confirming.
If less than the requested deposit amount arrives, only what arrived is credited — you can send the difference to the same address. See how to deposit.
The real cost: payout below 100%
On a Higher/Lower trade, a win pays your stake back plus a payout percentage of the stake, and a loss costs the whole stake. Because the payout is always below 100%, a win earns less than a loss costs. That gap is the price of the product. It works like a commission you never see as a separate line.
Example, at an 80% payout with a $10 stake:
- Win: you receive $18 back, a profit of $8.
- Loss: you lose $10.
To break even you need to win often enough that wins cover losses: win rate × 0.8 = (1 − win rate) × 1, which gives 1 ÷ 1.8 = 55.6%. Winning half your trades — what you would expect from a coin toss — loses money.
Break-even win rate by payout
| Payout | Break-even win rate |
|---|---|
| 70% | 58.8% |
| 75% | 57.1% |
| 80% | 55.6% |
| 85% | 54.1% |
| 90% | 52.6% |
| 94% | 51.5% |
The formula is simple: break-even = 1 ÷ (1 + payout). The profit calculator does it for any payout, and the glossary entry on the break-even win rate explains the idea further.
An illustration over 100 trades
Suppose you open 100 trades of $10 at an 80% payout and win exactly 55 of them. Your wins bring 55 × $8 = $440, your losses cost 45 × $10 = $450. Result: −$10, even though you won more than half the time. This is an arithmetic example, not a prediction — real results vary from trade to trade.
This is why payout matters more than any fee on the page. A few points of payout change the win rate you need. How Sky Trade's payout is set and why it moves is explained in payout percentage, and the bigger picture is in why most beginners lose.
Things that are not fees, but cost money
- Ties. If the price at expiry equals the entry price, your stake is refunded — no gain, no loss.
- Bonuses. A bonus has no fee, but it comes with a wagering requirement that keeps you trading, and every trade carries the payout cost above. See bonuses and promo codes.
- Overtrading. More trades means paying the built-in cost more often. See overtrading and discipline.
Trading involves a risk of losing capital. Prices can move against your position and you can lose the full amount of a trade. Trade only with money you can afford to lose.
Frequently asked questions
Does Sky Trade charge a withdrawal fee?
No. Sky Trade does not charge a withdrawal fee. The blockchain network may charge its own fee.
Is there a deposit fee on Sky Trade?
No. You pay only the blockchain network fee as the sender, plus any fee your exchange charges.
Is there a commission per trade?
There is no separate commission. The cost of trading is that the payout is below 100%, so you need to win more than half your trades to break even.
What win rate do I need at an 85% payout?
About 54.1%. In general, break-even = 1 ÷ (1 + payout), so 1 ÷ 1.85 ≈ 54.1%.
Why did less arrive than I sent from my exchange?
The exchange or network fee was probably deducted from the amount. Only the amount that arrives is credited; you can send the difference to the same deposit address.
